| Connector for joint bands |

| The
joint band connectors are delivered completely preassembled. The bridges on the inside of the joint bands are to be removed by means of a sharp knife in those regions which they are pushed into the connectors. The point is to be smooth but this is not necessary in the case of PVC joint bands with flat ribs. Stabilisers in plastic and steel must be removed. After the joint bands used for connection have been pushed into the left and right gaps, tighten up the screws. During this process the caoutchouc seal swells slightly. The joint bands are connected water tight with each other. Resistance The connector is resistant to the following materials:oil, petrol, water solutions, oxidising materials and urea.
